In 1979 the first automatic multi-spindle lathe was inaugurated and the company began to specialize in high-tech components for the automotive industry. As a Tier 2 subcontractor, the company supplied high precision pins, screws and stainless steel fittings for various automobile assemblies.
ETGAR ltd. manufactures parts made of 303, 304 and 316 stainless steel. Products include caps, nuts and couplings, military shells for connectors, fasteners and Let-Lok nuts machined on automatic multi-spindle lathes. In 1984 the first export deliveries of connectors to the USA opened a new era of subcontracting activities.
